His outstanding contributions to the industry were prominently recognized when he was named one of the top leaders in the Philippine hospitality sector by CEO Insights Asia for 2024.

A seasoned leader in large-scale operations, Ramon most recently served as the General Manager of Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay City, where he led operations for the historic 262-room property.

His appointment also signifies a smooth return to the Radisson family, having previously served as the Director of Food & Beverage at Radisson Blu Cebu.

Ramon’s impressive background in food and beverage management—further strengthened through key leadership roles at Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort & Spa and Cebu City Marriott Hotel—comes at a crucial time.

His expertise will perfectly complement Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod’s expanding catering and events business, which has recently grown to host large-scale gatherings of up to 4,000 guests.

For Ramon, stepping into this new role is a heartfelt homecoming. A proud native of the province and an alumnus of the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos, he built his hospitality career from the ground up right in Negros Occidental, with his early roots at the Bacolod Convention Plaza Hotel.

“We are delighted to welcome Ramon back to his home province,” said Ms. Cathy Nepomuceno, Senior Vice President for Operations of SM Hotels and Conventions Corp.

“Having a leader with deep Negrense roots is invaluable. His natural understanding of the local culture allows us to better anticipate our guests’ needs and foster a genuine connection with the community.”

Reflecting on his return, Ramon shared his excitement for this new chapter.

“Returning to my home province is a deeply rewarding, full-circle moment for me. There is a special pride in coming home to serve the community that first inspired my journey in hospitality. Together with the talented team at Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod, we will aim for operational excellence and continue to raise our service standards to create truly unforgettable experiences—all rooted in the authentic, heartfelt warmth that we Negrenses are known for.”
